2025 San Diego CA In the News

Our 2025 San Diego 5K SCADaddle took place Sept. 5-6 at beautiful Crown Point Park on Mission Bay. Many thousands of dollars were raised for research. More than 50 survivors participated. Family/friends of Tina, a SCAD Angel walked in her memory.

This year’s SCADaddle once again included an online silent auction. Since it was virtual, bids could be made anywhere on over 60 wonderful items. More than $3700 was raised for research.

There was also an opportunity to purchase tickets on a beautiful quilt. The quilt raised an additional $400.

The annual SCAD Reunion social/dinner especially for SCAD survivors, SCAD Angel family/friends took place Friday evening at Marina Village Conference Center, San Diego. A highlight of the evening was the presentation by Dr. Sharonne Hayes, an internationally recognized SCAD expert. Dr. Hayes leads the Mayo Clinic SCAD Research Program, Rochester, MN. Besides meeting others impacted by SCAD, participants had the opportunity to ask Dr. Hayes questions after her presentation.

Thank you to our sponsors especially Wells (Corporate sponsor) and JM Flooring. (Patron sponsor)

We appreciate all of the volunteers who spent countless hours raising money for research.
