2024 Wrap Up
Our first 5k fun run/walk was held in May 2012 in Naperville Illinois. It was our only location for until 2015 when the number of SCADaddle locations began to grow.
This year, we had six locations throughout the United States raising tens of thousands of dollars for research! SCADaddles not only raise research funds and spread SCAD awareness, they provide SCAD survivors and SCAD Angel families/friends opportunities to establish new friendships and renew old ones.

We are very grateful for Ellen Robin for being our 5k Coordinator and supporting all of the 5k chairs and sharing her experience with them. Ellen also is the President of SCAD Research, Inc.
We also recognized those who worked behind the scenes including Kathy Almassy for setting up Race Roster and Nick D’Orazio for streaming Mayo Clinic presentations in Illinois and California.
We appreciate Dr. Hayes, Dr. Tweet and Dr. Best who traveled to present Mayo Clinic’s latest research and answer questions in Minnesota, Illinois, California and Pennsylvania this year.
