The month of February has been set aside as American Heart Month to raise awareness about heart disease. Heart Disease is the number one killer in both men and women. February 2 is Wear Red Day and Go Red for Women. So, dig out some red clothes and help spread awareness.
According to the CDC website: Women in the United States are experiencing unacceptable and avoidable heart-related illness and death, and nearly half of U.S. women do not recognize that heart disease is the leading cause of death for women.
We hope you will also participate in SCAD Heart Attack Awareness Week© February 18-24 by accepting our SCAD Awareness Challenges. Each day we will post a new challenge on our Facebook, X(Twitter) and Instagram page. Watch for details!
