2026 Minnesota (Twin Cities) 5k SCADaddle© For Research

Our 7th annual Minnesota 5k SCADaddle© for Research fun run/walk took place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. It was a great success, raising thousands of dollars for much needed research. There were almost 200 participants registered to attend including survivors, SCAD Angel family/friends.
All participants received a SCADaddle© medal as they crossed the finish line at Battle Creek Regional Park, Maplewood MN.
Afterwards, participants enjoyed refreshments, kids’ activities, each other’s company and an opportunity to shop the SCAD store along with other vendors. Thank you to all who joined in the festivities and helped to make this year’s MN SCADaddle another great success!
A SCAD Reunion for survivors, their supporters and SCAD Angel families took place on Friday evening at the Doubletree by Hilton, St. Paul East. There were more than 50 people attending the dinner that included over 20 survivors and their friends and family.
Dr. Marysia Tweet and Dr. Patricia Best from the Mayo Clinic SCAD Research Program presented Mayo Clinic’s latest and greatest research. It was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all.
