2024 Minnesota 5k SCADaddle© for Research

Our 5th annual Minnesota 5k SCADaddle© for Research fun run/walk took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024. It was a great success, raising tens of thousands of dollars for much needed research. There were over 300 who registered to attend in-person and four registered to participate virtually.
In-person participants included over 40 survivors and 20 members of The Ruhberg’s Heart Beats On team, who participated in memory of Dick Ruhberg. All participants received a SCADaddle© medal as they crossed the finish line at Battle Creek Regional Park, Maplewood MN.
Afterwards, participants enjoyed refreshments, kids’ activities, each other’s company and an opportunity to shop the SCAD store along with other vendors. Thank you to all who joined in the festivities and helped to make this year’s MN SCADaddle such a success!
SCAD Reunion & Mayo Clinic SCAD Presentation
A SCAD Reunion for survivors, their supporters and SCAD Angel families took place on Friday evening at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Lake Elmo.
The Meet & Greet with a cash bar started at 5:00pm and dinner was served at 6:30pm. Participants took turns sharing their SCAD stories prior to Mayo Clinic’s research presentation.
