I have had two heart attacks caused by SCAD. The first one, at the age of 49, while I was on the back of a motorcycle with my husband, the 2nd one occurred two years later at age 51 during an exercise class. Both were confirmed at the Mayo Clinic and I also learned I have a carotid artery tear at this time. We need the research for women now and for future generations!
